For more relaxed evenings, a local cook specialising in authentic dishes will prepare her family-style feast that offers a true taste of the Salento.

    Food is at the very heart of Italian culture and every region of the country has its own particular recipes and culinary customs. Enjoy an in-villa cooking class learning some traditional recipes which define Puglia’s varied cuisine. You’ll learn to make pasta or pasticciotti (a typical sweet pastry from the Salento) in the comforts of the villa’s spacious and sociable kitchen.

    Within the serene surroundings of the palazzo, we can arrange expert massages to send you into full relaxation mode on your holiday. Our location

Palazzo San Vito provides the unique advantage of expansive proportions and private living, while also sitting within a small, charming southern town. Lequile and beyond

  • Lequile

    Lequile is a sleepy, tranquil town with a small handful of local restaurants, a supermarket for convenient shopping runs, a butcher, a baker, a bar for morning coffees and evening drinks, enveloped within spectacular Baroque architecture. Where most holiday homes in Puglia of this calibre require a drive to access any kind of amenity, as a glorified townhouse, Palazzo San Vito is luxuriously walking distance to them. That being said, a car will unlock Puglia’s endless coastal, cultural, and culinary charms. 

  • Lecce

    A 10 minute drive gets you to the iconic town of Lecce, one of Puglia’s most beautiful and important cities. Known as the ‘Florence of the South’ for its grandiose architecture and rich history dating back to antiquity, it is also a hub of excellent dining from simple trattorias to elegant eateries.  Further important and remarkably beautiful towns such as Galatina and Tricase Porto are easy drives away, while worthwhile spots in the Valle d’Itria including Ostuni, Cisternino, Grottaglie and Alberobello are all reachable for a day’s trip of exploring.

  • Salento

    Palazzo San Vito is positioned at the epicentre of the Salento - the sun-drenched southern peninsula of Puglia. Differing from the trullo-laden hills of its northern counterpart, the Valle d’Itria, Salento moves at a slower pace. The Ionian and Adriatic coastlines (equidistant from the villa) offer varied allure, while deeply historic towns retain an untouched soul.

  • Beaches

    The closest beaches of the Salento — some of the most beautiful coastlines in Italy — are 25 minutes away, while travelling a little further afield will take you to shores often referred to as the ‘Maldives of Puglia.’
